This coming May 2, 2011, bloggers from all over the world will unite and together, they will celebrate the importance and value of bloggers to the online community as they celebrate World Bloggers Day 2011 with the theme: “Bloggers as Social Media Revolutionists, Initiators and Champions, Collaborators of Businesses and NGOs to Attain Corporate and Societal Goals.” Bloggers and social media aficionados from Singapore, Pakistan, Philippines, Dubai, South Africa, New York, Australia and New Zealand will gather and celebrate the great contribution of blogging to the online world.
Here in Cebu, the World Bloggers Day 2011 Celebration will be held at The Plenary Hall, Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm. The event is spearheaded by Cebu Bloggers Society, Inc. World Bloggers Day will feature the KINGPINS as speakers of the event.
Cebu's most prominent blogger and businessman, Mr. Wilson Ng, will speak about "Building a Name, Building a Brand" during the first session.
In the second session, comprehensive discussions will be conducted starting with Mr. Marlon D. Guzman of Solid Hosting Manila with his talk about "How to Secure Your Blog from Hacking". Cebu's real estate millionaire, Mr. Anthony Leuterio, and his talk about "Impact of Blogging in Internet Marketing and Real Estate" will really be a big help to those who are planning to engage in real estate.
An open forum will be conducted afterwards moderated by Mr. Kevin Ray Chua, Co-founder of Cebu Bloggers Society, Inc. An AVP about the history of World Bloggers Day and a message from Yahoo! Philippines will also be featured in the program.
