Aiming to transform out-of-school youth, particularly in Consolacion. to productive individuals, an advocacy was formed by the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc.-Young Minds Academy Generation A - Team 8 and the Barangay Nangka, Consolacion, entitled "Out of School Youth".
Raymund Villacorta, Ara Berdon, James Michael Uaminal, and Toniphine Flores, all are current YMA Season 5 scholars, teamed up with Barangay Captain Rey Cataluña, Jr. of Barangay Nangka, Consolacion, Cebu, to provide the out-of-school youth a series of operational undertakings that will give them access to education, means of livelihood and psycho-social suppport. They call it Youth Sustaining Operations (YSO).

Villacorta also stressed out that they are planning to form an youth organization within the Barangay. He also said that they already conducted a reseach on what the out-of-school youth specifically needs. They are now currently on the implementation stage of the said program.
The Out of School Youth Program also accepts donations, whether in the form of cash or in kind, and volunteers based on the framework of their interventions: Education, Livelihood, and Capacity Building. For more information about the said advocacy, feel free to contact any of the following:
