SM City Cebu is one of the most popular malls here in the Queen City of the South. And soon enough, SM Supermalls will give SM City Cebu a partner in giving quality SM service that will soon rise in the South Road Properties (SRP), the SM Seaside City Cebu.
SM Seaside City Cebu will be one of the 1st developments in the masterplans of SM Properties. Designed by Arquitectonica, an international architecture, interior design and planning firm based in Miami, Florida, this new addition to the SM Supermalls will stretch at a 304,100 sq. meter site from the northern part of the SRP to the sea. This first-class urban development at the SRP will eventually change the literally change the city's landscape with its nautilus-inspired look.

The planned 4-level SM Seaside City Cebu has a lot of 93,570 sq. meters and a gross floor area of 291,043 sq. meters. It is a circular-shaped, world-class retail mall with multiple anchors, which includes a 2-storey SM Department Store and SM Hypermart, SM Cineplex with 5 theaters and an IMAX Theater, a foodcourt, Amusing Center, 18-lane SM Bowling Center, and an Ice Skating Rink. The mall will also add over 800 food and retail shops, including international brands.
To stick to the nautilus-inspired theme, the mall's car park will be incorporated into the structure, helping to define the semi-circular volume of the building. The public will have an easy access to the retail and food outlets at the ground level while service and delivery bays for tenants and SM anchors are set aside at convenient areas.
To provide a beautiful panoramic view of the entire Cebu City, an iconic Viewing Tower will be integrated at the vicinity of the mall and will serve as an attraction itself.
SM Seaside City Cebu will soon be one of the establishments to make an address in Metro Cebu, and expected to make way for the development of the area.
