- They may be selling the Fake or Counterfeit Proactiv products. They don't have any documents to prove that the ones they sell are genuine. They do not have the License to Import genuine Proactiv products issued by the Bureau of Customs, and each batch of imports must be cleared with an FDA Certificate of Product Registration.
- They may be selling products that are being smuggled into the country since they do not have documentation to import products legally. This leads to the undercutting of legitimate prices since they smuggle it, which results to not paying the taxes that might be helpful to the government in protecting the rights of the costumers.
- Illegal sellers are unregistered sellers. Once they already made a transaction with you, it is difficult for you to track him down after you found out that his goods are fake. You might end up ripped-off since there is virtually zero post-sale costumer support.
- Costumers who became victims of black market don't have the protection of FDA. There will be no clinical oversight from FDA protecting the buyers since the product they bought is not registered.
- Illegitimate products comes without warranties because unauthorized dealers do not have FDA Permit attesting the authority of the product they are selling. Other will give you the tag "If you find it fake, then we'll give you a refund!" but the real story is you can't pursue the buyer after you found it fake because he is nowhere to be found.
