Champ's SYNERGY

Months have already passed since my favorite band, Hale, announced that they call it quits. Now, Champ Lui-Pio, the front man, is now back to the music industry with his solo album "SYNERGY" under Polyeast Records (formerly EMI). It will be available on your favorite music stores on November 2010.

Champ recorded the album during his three-month break from the rock scene and is heavily inspired by his love for band such as Coldplay. The concept of the album is to collaborate with musicians whom he allows to establish relationships and connections to other artists. The album consists of 10 cuts which consists of various elements of soul, to punk, to folk, to rock, and rap. Monty Macalino of Mayonnaise, Ferdie Marquez and Angee Rozul are the co=producers of the album.

“After six years, as an artist, I have to let myself explore my boundaries”, the former front man of Hale said.

The carrier single of SYNERGY entitled “Hanging Habagat” will be aired on Oct. 19, 10am in all radio stations nationwide. The album is expected to come out November 8, 2010.
