Cebuanos, mark your calendars on the 30th of June for the First Social Media Day in Cebu organized by the Cebu Bloggers Society, Inc. This event will be held at Mactan Isla Resort and Spa at 2 PM.

Social Media Day is an event dedicated to people who are into social media: social media enthusiasts, practitioners, online entrepreneurs and bloggers who admire social media very much. Such examples of social media are Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Pinterest, Google+, YouTube, StumbleUpon, FourSquare, Qoura, Tumblr, Instagram, Flickr, Multiply and other social media sites.
Bjornson Bernales, Cebu Bloggers Society, Inc. Vice-President for External Affairs, added "Social Media Day will also be a day of meeting with bloggers who have benefited from blogging, who are interested in sharing their online opportunities and who may be your partners in possible venues."
Cebu Bloggers Society, Inc. Vice-President for Internal Affairs Nancy Cudis confirmed that CBSi have invited notable speakers from the field of blogging, social media and online journalism, including an award-winning blogger and online editor to share his insights about online writing, social media and online opportunities.
The event is free for CBSi members. For non-CBSi members, you are required to fill-up this form. Due to limited number of seats, SMDay Cebu will only invite selected registrants to join the event with instructions sent via email. If approved, a registration fee of Php 500 for non-CBSi members will be collected.
