Cebu has always been the core of everything in the Central Visayas Region as a thriving city. Because of that fact, Cebu was being chosen as the avenue for the first ever Career Hub planned by the country’s number one job site, JobStreet.com.
JobStreet.com’s aim is to be the Cebuano’s ally to promote their enhanced employability to some of the country’s roster leading companies that are willing to tap Cebu as the next employment abode in the country.

An on-the-spot hiring was facilitated during the opening of the JobStreet.com Career Hub. Many Cebuanos, both jobseekers and employers, were satisfied because they found their match. With the help of JobStreet.com’s aid such as tips on winning resumes and acing  interviews, this 3-month campaign will surely boost up the employment in the Queen City of the South.

Showing his support to the event is the Mayor of Cebu City, Honorable Michael Rama, who also led the ribbon cutting to officially open the first ever Career Hub last February 25, 2011. Being a known firm supporter of the President’s 22-point Agenda on Labor and Employment, Mayor Rama fully extends his warm gratitude for being the choice of JobStreet.com for the campaign. He viewed the event as the bond for his vision of Cebu as the flourishing city that he and the rest of Cebuanos aspire to have.

JobStreet.com Career Hub will surely mark Cebu City as the newest employment hub for employees and employers as it targets to help not only present jobbers, but also future of the company workforce in the face of the new graduates and the even competent undergraduates.
